ABOUT OUR PROCESS
Travis started out framing houses in 1989. In 1994 he started his first framing company. As he continued to solve problems that would invariably come up he found himself taking on the larger, more challenging, aspects of building. In 2002 Travis and Yvette made the leap into building their own homes from the ground up.
Dog Star Construction provides a unique service in being able to draw plans that meld with the topography. Having staked out countless lots, both flat and steep, Travis understands the issues that can arise. So this first hand knowledge is taken into account when drawing your plan. Through our drawing process we problem solve before the problems arise on site.
There is an intrinsic VALUE of being on site every day and having your general participate in the daily activities. We know first hand what the costs are and that materials are accounted for. After all, your peace of mind during building is what we strive for.
